This is the place where most Singaporeans get to enjoy a delectable plate of chilli crab, mee goreng, satay, etc, during the 70s and 80s. Almost anything is good there!
Some netizens recalled heading there for a meal after enjoying a morning of water-skiing or fishing by the sea.
Some also recalled how bus service numbers 82 and 83 will terminate their service there and when it’s time to get going again, the bus drivers will have to make a difficult u-turn at a very tight spot. Sometimes they’ll have to make 3-points turns and customers at the restaurant have to move away if not their chairs might get knocked down. And yes, they have to inhale the bus fumes as well…
