“I’m going to the toilet!” the bus driver said aloud, after parking the bus at the side of the road. Then, he walked to the petrol station to use the toilet. The passengers in the bus weren’t sure what to do.

According to Lianhe Wanbao, one passenger shared that he took bus 966 from Marine Parade to Toa Payoh, for 2 consecutive days, to which he had the same bus captain.

He said that the bus driver stopped the bus and took 5 minutes for his toilet break, before continuing the journey.

When the reader hopped on the bus the next day, the toilet break happened at the same time, but the he noticed that the driver didn’t seem like he was in a hurry.

As passengers, are we really not okay with bus drivers taking toilet breaks? It is rare, when our bus captains pause our rides, but is it wrong?
