This guy carried his grandfather down a hill!
As COVID-19 continues to pose challenges to the world, countries are seen speeding up their vaccination process.
With Taiwan experiencing yet another wave of infections, they allowed senior citizens above the age of 85 living in the cities with the most cases to get vaccinated first.
Amid this situation, this Facebook post of a young guy carrying an elderly man down a hill shared by Mr Zhang Zheyuan, caught our attention.
Mr Zhang shared that his neighbour was carrying his grandfather down the hill to get his vaccination, where the site was located at the bottom of the hill.

It is very touching to see how filial this grandson is. This scene reminds us that we should treasure what we have now before it’s too late. As we get older, we tend to get so busy with our own lives that we end up neglecting our grandparents at times.
A grandparent is like a parent, a teacher, and a best friend, helping us grow more securely in this unfamiliar world. Before we lose them, let’s cherish them in every way possible!
COVID-19 has indeed affected many families, especially those with elderlies who are more prone to contracting the virus.
With some elderlies living alone, things are slightly harder as we have fewer chances to pay them a visit given the restrictions. That’s why, if possible, ring them up whenever you can.
But for those with no family, we as neighbours can do our part by checking up on them every now and then. It wouldn’t hurt just to spare those few minutes to make sure they’re doing okay.
